Three years before The Last Lullaby premiered, The Shreveport Times published this story about my efforts to turn my short film, A Matter of Principal, into my first feature.
At the time, I had no idea just how long and difficult the road ahead would be.
It's been fascinating revisiting these early chapters as we approach the film's upcoming Kino Lorber Blu-ray release.
