  2. Well said. I agree, I think what I particularly like is its restraint and flow.

  3. Great to see Marvin Gaye's masterpiece there ("Mercy Mercy Me" and the title song are brilliant songs) as it would place very high on my own list. Dylan, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and the Smiths are great choices too, as are all of these.

    1. Revolver - The Beatles
    2. Who's Next - The Who
    3. Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys
    4. What's Goin On? - Marvin Gaye
    5. XO - Elliot Smith
    6. The White Album - The Beatles
    7. Songs in the Key of Life - S. Wonder
    8. Something Else - The Kinks
    9. American Pie - Don McLean
    10.Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull
    11.Highway 61 Revisited - Bob Dylan

  5. Sam, wonderful picks! I need to check out The Kinks album you mention. But I am also a huge fan of The Beach Boys, The Beatles, V.U., The Who, The Stones, CSNY, and Simon and Garfunkel albums you highlight.

Great addition! Thanks so much, Sam.
